Machina Religina

Machina Religina: The computer as religious artifact.
With Mairav Salomon. In Cage: Art in the Digital Age. Group Exhibition. Pulse Art Gallery, New York, NY. 1995

Interactive installation art - "Portable" prayer box, including confessional chamber, candles, matches and volume knob. Interaction is driven by light levels in box (via number and timing of candles lit) and stochastic algorythms. Critique of the modern cumpulsion to see computers and technology as replacements for inner needs and desires.
